Ask anybody. Which is more frightening, vampires or clowns? Most people would rather spend Halloween night with Dracula in a cemetery on Elm Street next to the Bates Motel than a half hour on a bright sunny afternoon with a clown.
You can help stop the madness. Send the kids out as ghosts, ghouls or goblins but please, don't send out the clowns.

From Marsh to Market
It was a beautiful Autumn day. We'd driven by these marshes many times without stopping, but could resist no longer. The car pulled easily onto the wide shoulder of the road. A short walk brought us to the edge of the brilliant red sea of plump ripe cranberries ready for harvest.
It's truly a spectacular sight of something special from Wisconsin.

Super Savon
Is there anything that Marius Fabre Savon de Marseille cannot do?
Everyday soap in the kitchen, bath and shower. These soaps are incredibly gentle and will leave even dry and sensitive skin feeling wonderfully smooth and soft.
As an anti-bacterial cleanser, it is an excellent disinfectant and can be used to clean wounds.
Grate the soap and boil in water to make your own laundry detergent.
As a stain-remover before washing.
As shampoo and even toothpaste.
Because it is hypoallergenic, dermatologists often recommend it for skin problems and midwives suggest it for newly-born babies.
This gentle soap is recommended for the care of babies and their clothes.
As shampoo for pet grooming.
Put a cube at the bottom of your bed to avoid cramps.
- From Olive Oil Source Boutique
Well we don't see baking a cake, wallpapering the bathroom, doing your Christmas shopping, curing the common cold or driving the kids to school on the list of things this soap can do, but it probably could do all of that if it tried.
This life-changing product brought back from our recent trip to France just might need to be replenished every few years. Anybody up for a little shopping trip? Peut-être, si nous sommes chanceux while we're there we can observe the "saponification in cauldrons technique" and then give it a try at home in the old Calphalon kettle.
Ne pas oublier de laver derrière les oreilles!
