Along with the fun of planning this year's garden comes the responsibility of being ready to deal with invasive species that may harm our own gardens and, if unchecked, the balance of the universe itself.
Please take time to view this message from the the Utah State University Extension on this serious threat to our yards and gardens.
If this is our tax dollars at work... we're all for it.
I've contacted CGC (Centers for Gnome Control) to see if they will send an EIS officer (Epidemic Intelligence Service)to check on the situation in CF. As I remember, there was an especially virulent Christmas day outbreak. The closest EIS officer who observed this is currently deployed to Uganda and will not be re-assigned, so we're on our own. Vigilance, everyone!
