Trying yet again to be in the in crowd, we ate there last week. The lunch choices were abbreviated, but there was plenty to choose from on their rotating menu. I had just heard from a friend that the current "in" dish at many Twin Cities restaurants is the Quebec transplant, poutine. Guess what was right at the top of the menu? Poutine is french fries covered with gravy and sprinkled with cheese curds. It's about time it came to Wisconsin. Infrequent indulging is recommended as its alternate name could easily be Heart Attack on a Plate.
We dined not far from dozens of cooling bread loaves. It was like being in surround smell.
On their shelves were all the essentials of life wrapped in well designed labels.
The Foster Cheese Haus is very to-do list worthy.
