Super, Natural British Columbia - The Best Place on Earth

A friend who seldom does what I tell her to do (except for the really important stuff) took my suggestion to make BC the destination for her celebration of a certain birthday. She and her companion chose a wonderful time of year to be touring Vancouver and Victoria. Well actually, her smart mother chose a wonderful time of year to have a baby, probably knowing that years later it would be a good month for her flower-loving daughter to celebrate a significant birthday.

A highlight of the trip was a visit to beautiful Butchart Gardens. I believe my friend was heard to say she wished she could "live there forever". Who wouldn't want to live in a colorful, manicured fantasy world with a full time gardening staff? Do you see even one little weed in any of these photos?
























This was a souvenir gift from my friend. She should really know better than to give positive reinforcement for negative behavior such as being bossy. Oh well. Thank you friend, and happy birthday.
