Or beating cabin fever with log cabin quilting using Denyse Schmidt fabrics from Jo-ann.
Traditionally the center block of a log cabin quilt square is red and symbolizes the glowing hearth in the middle of the cabin. With the large gold center in our rather summery fabric combo we are thinking "summer cottage with sun through the open window". Indulge us please.
Love these blocks! Looks like a great summer quilt to me.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Laura! One of your quilts floats around our house. It's a joy to find no matter where the girls have left it! Keep up the quilting!

ReplyDeleteThank you for all the kind words, they will help keep up the momentum needed to get all 49 blocks finished.
ReplyDeleteLove the image of the little quilt floating around the house and am happy to know it is still being used.
