The styrofoam cooler lids had desperate messages written on them.
What to do? Notify the authorities? Organize a mercy mission? Encourage the mayors to form a trade agreement? Ideas anyone?

Oh, those poor people....they must be living on a diet of fish and moose sausage. Next trip we pack coolers full of the requested items and barter like crazy in that high priced local economy! After that is we finish eating all the salmon. Should take about two years.
