From Marsh to Market

It was a beautiful Autumn day. We'd driven by these marshes many times without stopping, but could resist no longer. The car pulled easily onto the wide shoulder of the road. A short walk brought us to the edge of the brilliant red sea of plump ripe cranberries ready for harvest.



It's truly a spectacular sight of something special from Wisconsin.

Yes, so beautiful! Cranberries? They look more like red stones.
