Lost in Translation

The French word étranger means foreign and it also means stranger. Maybe someone should have checked with their English teacher before placing the awning order.

Alcool, while it looks funny, is actually the correct translation of alcohol.

Many times while in Paris and struggling for meaning, on a menu for example, we were reminded of Steve Martin's wisdom on the topic - "Boy, those French: they have a different word for everything!"
