In lieu of starting seeds myself I went on a little scouting mission to make sure the local farm market planters are on schedule. Of course they are.
I leave this step to the experts. They are really good at it.
When frost danger is almost over the little sprouts can come home with me. I usually manage to keep them alive on my own for a week or two before planting outdoors. But really, it's best for all concerned if they stay right there at the greenhouse as long as possible.
