Thunderdome

This was the amazing sky over the lake as the last guests left the cabin after a very sunny and fun,
but very hot week .

The rain came and brought blessed relief from the heat making for much more pleasant conditions for washing sheets and towels, bundling up the recycling (high temps called for many bottled beverages), and cleaning up the waterfront, while reviewing the week and remembering what a good time was had by all.

You sure this isn't a picture of the down pillow remnants stuck to the washing machine door?!

Oh no, that will be appearing during "stupidest things we've ever done week" in the category of "putting old iffy items in the washing machine".

Thanks for reminding us. We had almost forgotten the great post-Fourth of July poultry explosion and had quit worrying about the long term effects of the equivalent of five ducks' down being released in the brand spankin' new Whirlpool.

Wonder if duck damage is covered by the warranty?
